Sell by auctions

You can come to our office (14, rue Cler - 75007 Paris) to present us your objects. We welcome you from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Appraisal meetings in the provinces and abroad

The firm regularly organises specialised appraisal days (jewellery, antique or modern paintings, contemporary art, cars, etc.), in the presence of our specialist experts.
An estimate will be sent to you on the spot and we will discuss the terms of sale together. You can find our next appraisal days on this site by clicking on "Appraisal days".

Fill in the valuation form

By clicking on the "Appraisal form" tab, you can send us photos and details of your objects. These will be presented to our specialist experts and an estimate will be sent to you.

Selling at the right place, at the right time

Once the estimate has been received and accepted, we will work together to determine the best way to sell.
With regular sales in all specialities (jewellery, furniture and objets d'art, antique and modern paintings, silverware, street art, wines, musical instruments, gold, cars, hunting, weapons, archaeology, textiles, tribal art, coins, stamps, scientific and technical objects, vintage fashion, Asia, ceramics, etc.), we will advise you on the most suitable sale for your items: general, listed or catalogued sale, online sale (exclusively on the Internet) or sale on the spot.

We will inform you of the sale costs, which include the costs of expertise, advertising, catalogue, insurance...
A sale mandate and the catalogue (except for general sales) will be sent to you. The mandate is the contract that stipulates that you entrust your object to us for sale, it indicates the date and place of the sale, the costs and, possibly, the reserve price.

The reserve price: this is the amount below which you do not want us to sell your objects. We can establish it together, taking into account the object, its condition and the market. This amount cannot be higher than the low estimate.

Payment

After the sale, we will inform you of the result of the sale of your objects.
Payment is made by cheque or bank transfer one month after the sale and after the buyer's actual payment. It consists of the hammer price, minus the sale costs and other expenses related to the sale. In the event that your object is unsold, we will agree together on the opportunity to represent it in one of our next sales by adapting the estimate.

Taxation

In the event of the sale of an item for more than €5,000, you are liable for capital gains tax (6.5% of the amount sold). The capital gains tax on monetary gold is 11.5% of the amount sold; the seller's costs are then adjusted. This tax is collected by us and passed on to the tax authorities, so you do not have to take any particular steps.

However, you can be exempt from this tax if:
- You have owned the property for more than 22 years
- You are a professional
- You are a foreign national and not a French tax resident
- The object is sold as part of an estate that was opened less than two years ago.
- If the property is acquired by a public body
