Hexagonal planter on a short, flared heel, in gilded bronze with inlaid sodalite plates (probably tinted and patched) and colored verrotte cabochons (missing), the rim inlaid with faceted square white stones (missing), the lip adorned with Buddhist and Taoist symbols (rhombus, ruyi head) and acanthus leaves. The sides are decorated with foliate scrolls. China, Qing dynasty, Qianlong (1736-1795) or Jiaqing (1796-1820) period and later W. 20.5 - H. 10.5 cm (Restorations and alterations)
