Silver trophy 1st title 950‰, depicting Ceres standing holding a plow base, on a green marble pedestal flanked by putti palms and engraved shields. For one "Concours de Prime d'Honneur de la Charente 1908, Gallocher Louis à Saint Yrieix", for the other. "Ministry of Agriculture, Prime d'Honneur". French work circa 1905 Signed, hallmark of Fernand Poisson's workshop H. 34 cm - H. (with base): 65 cm Gross weight : 2 840 g Fernand Poisson, a Parisian silversmith since 1901, was a pupil of the Fannière brothers. He specialized in the creation of objets d'art and commissioned objects. In 1904, he married the daughter of the famous painter Habert-Dys, with whom he worked. A vase resulting from this collaboration is in the Musée d'Orsay collections (Inv. 0A02).
