Tabatière in silver 1er titre 925‰ partially gilded, rectangular shape, with rocaille decoration, embellished on each side with chased decorations, representing scenes Top: adorned with a hunting scene Front: a sleeping nymph surprised by a satyr Right: two lovers releasing doves Back: a grimacing Bacchus riding a giant snail Left side: a love on a chariot carrying a basket of flowers on its head, inscribed "G.B.MONZA.F.". Underneath: a battle scene depicting combatants in outfits from different eras, inscribed "G.B.MONZA.F.". The interior is entirely gilded. Probably Italian, late 19th century Traces of use, minor dents to corners, wear to gilding 4.80 x 6.70 x 3.30 cm Weight: 85.50 g
