Odiot Confiturier in silver 1st grade 925‰, standing on a round base, composed of four pilasters, the capitals with palmettes, provided with twelve places for spoons. Above a pedestal edged with a frieze of water leaves, supports an openwork bowl adorned with two hermes heads, and two palmettes from which butterfly embellished grips extend. The plain lid is highlighted by a frieze of pearls, while the fretel is in the shape of a butterfly au naturel. Traces of use, minor deformations, white crystal lining (later), figured in a shield on the lid, Poinçon au vieillard, Paris 1819 / 1838, hallmark of the workshop of J.B.C Odiot.
