FÉLIX (Gérard Chamayou)
Gérard Chamayou, the future Félix, was born in 1929 in Asnières (Seine). After brilliant engineering studies, he joined a major industrial group before founding his own company, Multicub, in 1965, which gave him the means to develop his inventions and, later, produce his sculptures in his own workshops.
For thirty years, the company operated at full capacity, alternating between prestigious commissions and personal creations.
In 1997, the artist decided to help the homeless. He created the Félix Cité association, which two years later built a reintegration village in Corbeil, made up of fifteen Shelters of his own invention.
