Mantel clock in chased and gilded bronze; the bezel with cabochon interlacing; the base adorned with a vase with detached handles, garlands and a seed grip; the sides with lion's heads holding ribbons in their gules; scrolled and foliate console uprights framing trellised openwork reserves; quadrangular base with channel friezes and foliate clasp. The white enameled circular dial, signed "Monteil à Toulouse", indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in increments of five in Arabic numerals. Louis XVI style. Height 40cm ; width 24cm ; depth 14cm.
