Russian modules telemetry antenna - I.S.S. for 630-640 MHZ b - Lot 157
Russian modules telemetry antenna - I.S.S. for 630-640 MHZ band New Original Model - Khrunichev Company D. (with base) 21 x 21 x 16 cm The various modules of the orbital stations are constantly monitored from the ground by the various control centers. On the International Space Station ISS, the Russian section - the modules located at the rear of the station - is monitored by TsUP, the Human Space Flight Control Center located in the town of Korolev near Moscow. The constant telemetry data transmitted on the 630 to 640 Mhz frequency band uses characteristically shaped antennae that are naturally located on the outside, attached to the white radiator panels of each module. They are identical to those used on the various modules of the MIR station, from 1986 to 2001. From the Khrunichev company (has not been in space). Donated by the Khrunichev team in 1998.
