(overall) 25 x 25 x 16.5 cm (minor restoration and wear) NOTE: John Young (1930 -2018) and Charles Duke (1935 ...) made up the crew of the Apollo 16 mission (with pilot Ken Mattingly), the fifth lunar mission and the second-to-last to include a lunar sojourn. John Young and Charles Duke spent a total of 71 hours on the lunar surface, with a lunar rover and some 20 hours on spacewalks. During the mission, the crew brought back 95 kg of rocks and numerous films of their stay. This was the first lunar landing on a plateau to study the Moon. The entire mission lasted 265 hours, from April 16 to April 27, 1972.
