Paris : imprimerie royale, April 1840. - In-8, green half-basane, smooth spine, in a dark green morocco slipcase with flaps, with compartments inside for maps and a pencil. A good copy of this post-book in its original slipcase. At the end are several covered leaves with notes of travel accounts from the period, including a journey from Paris to Châteauroux with 4 horses and 2 postilions, from Fontenoy to Paris, etc. One page includes a list and price of the journey. One page contains the list and prices of trips made in November 1843. Most of the other pages intended for notes have been cut out. Gilt letter G on case flap. Minor wear to slipcase. Staining with slight loss at bottom corner of last few leaves and second cover. Without map.
