Mantelpiece in chased and gilded bronze and burr; the clock in the form of a cippe with pediment surmounting a facade featuring a bas-relief of an allegory between two pilasters surmounted by an eagle holding lightning bolts; the sides flanked by caducei; the base with wide heart-shaped stripes; base on filleted plinth; the enameled ring dial indicates the hours in Roman numerals, the center with a star pierced with palmettes. The side vases in diamond-pointed molded crystal; Medici-shaped, they stand on medallion bases surmounted by an eagle and containing an urn; the sides with flower-laden baskets; bases with foliage moldings on an amati background; small feet with eagles. The movement plate is signed "Planchon à Paris" (spring stamp). Charles X style (minor chips to veneer) Clock: Height 61 - Width 34 - Depth 19.5 cm. Vases: Height 36 cm
