Late Ghoum (Iran) Shah period, circa 1965. Dimensions: 198 x 140 cm Kork quality silky lambswool velvet on cotton foundation. Good overall condition. Beautiful polychromy. Ivory field with polychrome scrolls and garlands of flowers and foliage, adorned with a large central rosette with ruby and bluish-gray floral crown. Four sky-blue spandrels with floral bulbs. Four borders, the main one in ruby with interlacing multicolored floral palmettes.
