Pierre AMBROGIANI (1907-1985) Still life with a teapot Gouache and acrylic on paper pasted on isorel signed on the top left 30 x 23 cm (curled sheet) Pierre Ambrogiani, an artist from Marseille, worked with André Malraux and Louis Aragon in the context of cultural projects. He also became friends with Marcel Pagnol and Jean Giono. He is known for his landscapes of the South, but also for his still lifes. In 1962, he created frescoes and stained glass windows for the church of the Immaculate Conception in Marseille. He is exhibited in many museums such as the Fabre Museum in Montpellier, the Art Museum of Toulon and the Fine Arts Museum of Marseille.
