Paris : La Belle edition, [1911]. - In-4, marbled paper boards, smooth spine, untrimmed, cover preserved (H. Prouté). First edition of this beautiful album paying tribute to the famous dancer and choreographer Isadora Duncan. It begins with a text by Fernand Divoire and contains 25 compositions by Dunoyer de Segonzac, including one on the title, 6 in the text and 18 full page, representing Isadora in various dance postures, alone or accompanied. One of the first 15 numbered copies on japon à la forme, signed by the author, the illustrator and the publisher. This one has 18 full-page illustrations out of the 20 required; the two missing ones do not seem to have been printed since the leaves where they should appear are present and have remained blank. Wear to the headpieces. Provenance: René Chalupt, with his bookplate. CLAUDEL (Paul). This Hour which is between spring and summer. Cantata for three voices. First edition of this poetic text. Copy of the deluxe edition printed at 323 numbered copies on Arches laid paper (N° 105). The cover is printed on japon paper. Claudel The rue Gaillard was the address of the composer Darius Milhaud who was for a time Paul Claudel's private secretary in Brazil. Some soiling to the parchment.
