Troop shako 1810, attributed to the third regiment of voltigeurs, First Empire. Stiff felt shaft, stamped leather visor, sewn leather headband with brass clasp at the back and stiff leather cap at the top. Leather inner cap (canvas missing), stamped brass square plate with the number "3" held by two iron clasps. Pressed leather cockade painted in blue, red and white, held by threads. Pair of chinstraps in brass scales cut on leather shuttles and rosettes to the horn. Pompon with yellow flame. Inside the leather cap damaged but without structural or aesthetic consequences on the whole. Some period pieces may have been brought back. Height of the shaft without visor : 19 - with visor : 22 - with pompom : 30 - Diam. at the top : 24,5, diam. at the base : 19 cm France, First Empire
