Important model of a mounted cuirassier in the style of Charles Sandres. Superb work in metal, leather, cloth, paper mache and terracotta representing a cuirassier of the great army to the regulation of 1812. The horse in painted paper mache and real horsehair stands on a terracotta base. It is equipped with a leather and metal harness of great finesse. Beautiful saddle, saddle pad with pomegranate and coat rack in cloth, leather and metal stirrups. The rider with the fine face is equipped with : - Leather boots with spurs, basane bridge pants, cloth cuirassier suit with grenades on the basques, pair of cloth epaulettes, pair of crispin gloves, metal cuirass to the 1812 regulation with articulated straps and scales, metal cuirassier helmet, horsehair and fur headband and articulated chinstraps (missing plumet). The saber of cavalry of line to the model AN XI is equipped with its strap and suspended with its leather suspension. Superb work close to that of Charles Sandre.
