Small in-4, fawn calf, gilt spine, gilt thread frame with fleur-de-lis at the corners and arms stamped in gold at the centre of the boards (worn binding of the period). With the arms of La Porte-Mazarin, Lord of La Meilleraye. Handwritten mention of Henricus Emmanuel Franciscus de Roquette, Abbot of Roquette, prior of Saint-Hymer. Text ruled in red ink of 253 manuscript pages disserting on the art of rhetoric. Engraved portraits of the most famous rhetoricians. Dry stamp.
