Human skull carved from a meteorite known as Ghubara discovered in the Sultana of Oman. The skull measures 110 x 70 mm and 80 mm high for 1075 g. Contemporary work on this meteorite whose very dark texture, rich in diddeminated metal, is perfectly suited to this work. Note the natural position on the upper right incisor of a concentration of metal that seems to reveal a "silver" tooth. Ghubara is a chondrite-type meteorite whose exposure age, i.e. the time elapsed between its separation from the asteroid which is its parent body, is between 9 and 28 million years.
