Icon of the Transfiguration. Flanked by four Orthodox saints. Tempera on wood entirely painted on a gold background, preserved under a silver riza (875 ) partially glazed and finely worked with embossed drapery and cloud motifs, and scroll corners. Bears apocryphal hallmarks of the Maison Fabergé and Russian titling. Accidents to the borders, lacks in the pictorial layer, accidents to the riza.
