JAPAN Two stoneware Chawan bowls for the tea ceremony, with an ochre-brown glaze, inspired by Song porcelain glazes Height : 6cm, Diam : 13 and 13,5cm We join : JAPANese stoneware tea ceremony bowl, decorated in polychrome and gold with butterflies on a cracked beige background. Potter's mark on the reverse. Two cracks. Height : 7,5cm, Diam : 11cm JAPANese flared tea ceremony bowl in cracked grey-white glaze, decorated in light relief with a branch of prunus in bloom and a branch of hyacinth on the outer wall, with a frieze of flames around the foot in iron red. The inside of the bowl with a bird in light relief on a prunus branch. Stamp on the reverse. Meiji period (1868-1912) Diameter : 17cm
