Yellow gold brooch ≥ 750‰ featuring a large royal cobra, set with the Kundan technique with nineteen diamonds, twelve rubies in cabochons, two of which are pendants, as well as an emerald Indian work, first half of the 19th century for the front motif; the back shell was made using European techniques in India around 1910-1930. Diamond weight approx. 20 carats Weight of rubies approx. 6 carats Some type IIA, probably from the Golkonda region (Golconde) The rubies are probably Birman (Myanmar), from alluvial deposits The emerald is probably of Pakistani or Colombian origin Misses and slight accidents Posterior system in 14K yellow gold 585‰ Gross weight: 97.90 g
