Medicine Buddha (Bhaishajyaguru) in copper alloy with brown patina, seated in dhyanasana on a double lotiform base, wearing a pleated robe that leaves the upper torso uncovered. In his right hand, he holds a myrobalan fruit from the badam tree, while his left hand is placed on his knee in the gesture of meditation. The serene face with half-closed eyes framed by long, pierced earlobes falling to the shoulders, the hair topped with small curls housing the ushnisha and surmounted by the jewel. Traces of polychromy China, Ming period, 17th century H. 41 cm (slightly rubbed)
