Kagamibuta consisting of a Ryusa (openwork) deer-wood bowl decorated with Tako Karakusa, with a chrysanthemum-shaped himotoshi in the center. The Kagamibuta plate is made of Shakudo inlaid with Iroe Taka Zogan of a gyrfalcon on a perch watching the flight of a bird in the distance. Japan, Edo period, 19th century Slightly depatinated metal plate Inro with four compartments, in Fundame lacquer decorated in Taka Maki-e silver with a gyrfalcon on a leafy branch wrapping around the reverse of the Inro Ojime in bone and netsuke in the form of a cup carved in the center with the head of Okame Japan, Edo period, early 19th century 7.5 x 5.5 x 2 cm (wear to lacquer and slight chips)
