A handsome large flat desk in wire ebony veneer. Rectangular in shape, it opens with three drawers and stands on sheath legs. Rich ornamentation in chased and gilded bronze, including an amatie gallery, heart-shaped frames, palmette entrances, draped falls, rings and leafy sabots. The top is covered in green leather with large gilded vignettes.
