Sword attributed to the King's bodyguards. Mounted in silvered bronze and ebony. Flattened pommel flanked by chased wavy lines. Joint bow decorated with wavy lines. Medallion-shaped body knot and continuation quillon. Decorated shell following the joint arc. Spindle in squared ebony, straight blade with chased triangular section decorated with trophies. Total length: 86cm. Composite. France, Partially late 18th century.
