Indo-Persian set of an arm guard and a helmet. Chased-iron arm guard with rows of chevrons and chased gold netting, decorated with flower friezes. Closing with three buckles, the flap at wrist level is missing. Interior lined with fabric. Total length: 24cm Late 18th century. Nineteenth-century helmet with hemispherical bombshell topped by a cupule, reinforced with five ridges, two frontal plumule holders and a base for attaching the nasal bridge. The perimeter is enriched with older barley grain chainmail. Oxidation. Diameter: 19 cm
