Infantry saber circa 1790. One-piece bronze mounting. Oval cap marked with the letter G, flat joint arc and straight quillon in the extension, it is marked with two rooster punches from the Klingenthal factory. Straight blade with a gutter at the heel, marked with a lictor beam, matching the frame, signed "DUMONT" on the hilt. No scabbard. France, circa 1792.
