Louis MALTESTE (1862-1928) Two actors in the play Varennes (act III): "H. He began his career in the 1890s working for L'Illustration. He then drew for many magazines such as L'Estampe Moderne, La Plume, L'Assiette au Beurre, le Chat noir, Frou-Frou, La Caricature, etc. He also produced many posters for advertising and cinema (Absinthe parisienne, Les Misérables...). He regularly publishes erotic novels under the pen name Jacques d'Icy.
