Ghadames meteorite, 1322g.
Meteorite presenting a black fusion crust on 100% of its surface without any luster or fracture, which is very rare. This specimen, typically shaped with rounded corners, fell on August 26, 2018 on Earth in the Ghadames region near the border in Libya.
Dozens of meteorites with a total weight of more than 100 kg were collected shortly after their spectacular fall, which was observed by many witnesses.
Complete meteorite weighing 1322 g, dimensions 100 x 85 x 80 mm.
