Barometer of the Louis XVI period in painted wood signed Scaleno 49 rue Jan ST Deny Paris
The system is composed of a barometer and a Réaumur alcohol thermometer.
The bottom of the barometer bears indications on hot greenhouses, baths, silk greenhouses, the temperature of Paris, the temperature of the ice, as well as some important dates such as 1776, 188 or 1798.
The black and gold painted wood decoration represents birds and leaves.
