Micromanipulator of Fontbrune Mainly used... - Lot 158 - Euvrard & Fabre
Micromanipulator of Fontbrune Mainly used in biology the device allows to transmit the movement of the hand to the microscopic tool in order to avoid any natural vibration of the hand. The device consists of a manipulator and a receiver connected by three rubber cables. The manipulator consists of a joystick that pivots on a ball joint. This allows horizontal movements to be transmitted to the pistons of both syringes that are proportional to the amplitude and direction of the joystick's oscillations. In the receiver, the barometric capsules are oriented in three axes. Their volume variation linked to the pressure transmitted by the cables allows the tip to move microscopically. Thus the movement of the hand is reproduced microscopically. Material in its original transport box. (The three cables need to be replaced). Circa 1910-1930.
